Biography

Born in Buenos Aires in 1964, Adriana Setter has always had a deep connection with nature, colors, and history. Though Argentine by birth, she considers herself Italian by love and choice. Initially a lawyer for over 20 years, her passion for art and history led her to museums and books in her free time. In 2006, a life-changing move to Europe immersed her in diverse cultures, deepening her artistic journey. She studied Art History while continuing to paint, drawing inspiration from great masters like Lotto, Ghirlandaio, Fortuny, and Modigliani. Having lived in the Netherlands and Italy, she now resides in Madrid, where she finds true happiness before a blank canvas, ready to transform it into an expression of emotion. For Adriana, each painting is a dialogue with the past, a journey through time, and a soulful connection with the artists who came before her.
