Lupie Lup is a Colombian artist and art educator based in Oman for the past six years. Her art blends the vibrant traditions of her Colombian heritage with influences from the diverse cultures she has encountered throughout her journey. Rooted in the bold, saturated colors of her native culture, Lup’s work evolves with the experiences and spaces she inhabits. Her art serves as a personal exploration, using creative expression as a means to embrace vulnerability and seek connection. Lup believes that transformation comes from accepting one’s true self, and that grace is found in unapologetically embracing our full essence. She uses color and layers to reflect the beautiful messiness of life—simulating the contradictory, challenging, and sometimes chaotic moments that are filled with authentic beauty. Through her work, she invites others to experience and celebrate the complexity of human existence.
