Biography

Akshita Lad is an award-winning artist honored with the UAE Golden Visa for her contributions to the arts. Born in Mumbai and based in Dubai, her artistic journey began with childhood visits to museums, where she was inspired by Da Vinci, Monet, Michelangelo, and Rembrandt. After earning a degree in Business and Finance from Boston University, she built a successful career in real estate before refining her design skills at the Florence Design Academy in 2004. In 2018, she pursued her passion for painting at Dubai’s Lotus Educational Institute, developing a style influenced by Renaissance and Impressionist masters. Her work, spanning portraits, landscapes, and abstracts, radiates inclusion, joy, and positivity. Guided by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s philosophy, she continually refines her craft. Committed to empowering girls and advocating for nature, her art is both an expression of beauty and a force for positive change.
