Biography

Shelina Khimji is a self-taught, award-winning Tanzanian artist and Chartered Accountant, passionate about art since childhood. With over a decade of experience, she was featured on CNN Style for her lockdown artwork. Shelina exhibited at World Art Dubai 2020 as the only Tanzanian artist with a solo booth. Her work has been featured in publications like The National UAE, Art & Lusso Magazine, and The Citizen Tanzania. Shelina has exhibited globally, including in Wahenga – The Sages at Nafasi Art Space and at the Saatchi Gallery UK. She has been invited to judge art competitions, speak at international events, and create murals for charity. Shelina is part of AWEDACITY and her gallery was launched at the Art and Design Hub Show. She was selected to represent Tanzania in Dubai's Women’s Day exhibition, showcasing her global recognition and contribution to the art world.
