Biography

Nevine Meguid is an innovative Australian artist whose work is deeply influenced by her Egyptian heritage and experiences in the UAE. Originally a graphic designer, she transitioned into fine arts, refining her craft through an Artist-in-Residence program at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi. Her signature style blends fluid alcohol inks with Arabic calligraphy, creating dynamic, textured layers and fragmented script that evoke a sense of movement and depth. This unique fusion of tradition and contemporary abstraction has earned her global recognition. Nevine’s works are sought after as limited editions and have been exhibited in prestigious venues, including Atlantis The Royal Hotel in Dubai, Wollongong University in Dubai, Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, and the Islamic Museum of Australia in Melbourne. Through her art, she continues to push creative boundaries, offering a fresh perspective on cultural expression and modern artistic techniques.
