Biography

Born in Brazil and currently based in Dubai, Stephanie Blum is an expressive artist known for her vibrant and dynamic use of color. Her artistic journey began in the late 1990s under the mentorship of Professor Joana Senger. Mostly self-taught, she later enhanced her skills with courses at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) while living in Providence, USA. Stephanie’s abstract paintings go beyond visual appeal, evoking emotions and stories that draw viewers into a world of color and depth. She employs various techniques, including tactile painting, to create organic textures. Using brushes, sponges, and varnish, she achieves smooth transitions and a unique interplay of gloss and matte finishes, adding depth and luminosity to her work.
