Biography

Ajna, born and raised in Tangier, Morocco, now lives and works between London and Tenerife, Canary Islands. Her art blends European traditional oil techniques learned at the Byam Shaw School of Painting and Drawing in London, with influences from India and Hong Kong, where she studied under Chou Shou An. Ajna draws inspiration from ancient civilizations, nature, and the study of geometry in both Islamic and Western art. Her work has earned multiple awards and been exhibited worldwide in countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, and the United States. Notable exhibitions include The Florence Biennale, Villa Pisani Museum (Venice), European Parliament (Brussels), World Art Dubai 2023, and more. Ajna has received prestigious awards, including the Premio dell’Arte Italia Accademia Gli Etruschi Award and Grand Prix Cannes. She is also an International Art Consultant for the Museum of Americas. Upcoming shows include symposiums in Germany and Morocco.
