Biography

Zaahirah Muthy is a passionate artist-activist, curator, and agent of change from Mauritius, based in Dubai. Through her artistic initiatives, she advocates for empowerment and social transformation. Her work has been exhibited globally, spanning Africa, Europe, the Middle East, the United States, and Asia.

A versatile mixed-media artist, Zaahirah seamlessly blends painting, collage, assemblage, and sculpture, adapting her techniques to convey deeper narratives. Rooted in spirituality and paradigm shifts, her art inspires positivity and reflects both geographical and personal journeys.

Her artworks are showcased in prestigious hotels, museums, banks, and private collections. Recognized internationally, she has been featured in prominent media, reinforcing her influence in the global art scene. She has put up 7th solo exhibition and has received multiple awards under her belt, including Artist of the Year 2016 and Leonardo da Vinci award in Florence.
