Biography

Originally from Moldova, Liudmila Calin has been based in Dubai for the past 20 years. She began her artistic journey with formal training at an art school for children and later at the Alexandru Plamadeala Republican College of Fine Arts. However, life led her into a career in finance, temporarily distancing her from art. Despite this, her passion never faded, and she eventually returned to her true calling. Now fully dedicated to her artistic practice, she draws inspiration from her Moldovan heritage and Dubai’s dynamic multicultural environment. Through her work, she seeks to express emotions, tell stories, and connect with people, blending influences from her past and present into a unique creative vision.
