Biography

Born in Montenegro, Yugoslavia, on September 2, 1986, Ana Soc is a multidisciplinary artist recognized for her evocative exploration of human emotion. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Montenegro (2005–2008) before earning her master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts Brera in Milan, Italy, in 2011 under the mentorship of Paula Panno and Roberto Rossi. Her graduate project, The Pain, set the foundation for her emotionally charged artistic approach. Primarily working with acrylics, Ana blends texture, material, and composition to create striking visuals that resonate deeply. Her work has been exhibited across Italy, Montenegro, Serbia, and the UAE, captivating audiences with its raw intensity. Beyond painting, Ana explores photography and graphic design, all driven by a passion for uninhibited self-expression. Art, for her, is both a personal narrative and a therapeutic outlet—an invitation for viewers to connect with their own emotions through her creations.
