Shafiya Aslam Ahamed is a self-taught contemporary artist known for her vibrant, expressive paintings that blend culture and global experiences. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, she completed a BA in Business Management, Leadership & HR with First Class honors from Northumbria University in the UK. Despite her academic achievements, Shafiya pursued her passion for art, using vibrant colors and intricate details to reflect her travels and experiences. Her work has been featured on Times Square billboards in New York City and exhibited in Istanbul and Dubai, including at the iconic Museum of the Future. With upcoming exhibitions in London, Paris, and Madrid, Shafiya pushes artistic boundaries and invites viewers to join her in a visual journey that sparks conversation and challenges stereotypes.
