Biography

Dr. Eng. Suaad Al Shamsi, the first UAE female aircraft engineer and the first Arab female aviation researcher, is also a celebrated visual artist. Her artwork, rooted in Pop Art and Pop Realism, champions women and youth empowerment. She explores themes of self-expression, heritage, and individuality, challenging stereotypes while celebrating cultural identity. Her art has been exhibited globally, including at DIFC Art Exhibition, Sikka Art Fair, London Summer Art Exhibition, and Paris Art Exhibition. She has received multiple accolades, including the Best Pop Art Artist Award (2021) and Creative Woman of the Year. Merging her expertise in aviation with bold artistic narratives, she continues to inspire, bridging art, culture, and societal progress to empower future generations.
