Biography

Tatiana Latynina is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges the worlds of dance and visual art. A classically trained ballet dancer, Tatiana graduated from the prestigious choreographic studio at the I. Moiseev Theater of Folk Art and spent two decades as a principal dancer with the Berezka Dance Ensemble. Her extensive career took her across the globe, including a fateful tour in Venezuela where she met her future husband. At the age of 40, Tatiana embarked on a new artistic journey, transitioning from the stage to the canvas. She honed her skills at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London, GB) and received professional training at the Royal Academy of Arts (London, GB), where she developed a distinctive style that captures the essence of movement and life. While primarily a painter, Tatiana also explores sculpture. Inspired by her dance background, Tatiana’s work is a celebration of motion—whether it’s the fluidity of a dancer’s gesture or the dynamic rhythms of everyday life. Her art seeks to immortalize the ephemeral, transforming fleeting moments into timeless visual narratives. Today, she continues to create, blending her deep understanding of movement with her passion for visual storytelling.
